Twitter Can Transform Your Life…

Have you been to Twitter.com?

If you haven’t you should get an account…

One of the things I LOVE about Twitter is that it FORCES you to communicate your thoughts in a clear, concise manner.

You only have 140 characters to convey “What you’re doing right now…”

BRILLIANT

This same principle can be POWERFUL when it comes to your goals…

Inevitably, when I ask people what their goals are I can tell very quickly who’s on track for achieving those goals and who’s not.

The majority of people who can quickly and concisely explain their goals (less than 30 seconds) usually will achieve them in short order.

Those who go on rambling for minutes and minutes…event hours… usually have no idea of what they really want.

And as a result, usually find themselves stuck and running around in circles.

So, here’s a simple thing you can do RIGHT NOW that will TOTALLY CHANGE YOUR LIFE - and it’s FREE.

(this should only take you about 4 minutes)
1. Go to Twitter.com
2. Get a FREE account
3. Find me… http://twitter.com/antoniothornton
4. Click the button to “follow me”
5. Tell me what you’re up to in your life ….
- what you’re working on
- what goals you’re going after
- what your life looks like in 5 years.

What ever you want… but here’s the only caveat… you have to do it in 140 characters!!

If you’re unable to do this in 140 characters, you may want to refine your goals to something more clear and concise. Consider that this may be the reason you might be struggling with your goals -because you really aren’t clear on what you want.

See you on Twitter….it’ll be fun!

Everything You Can Do

I’m often asked, “How do I know I’m doing everything I should to manifest the things I want?”

One of the ways that you can know if you’ve done everything you can do is determining if you’ve done everything that YOU can do.

Sometimes people feel that they aren’t doing enough - they’re wanting to get that business going and it’s not picking up fast enough…or they’re trying find that perfect relationship, but the person hasn’t shown up yet. Then, they start feeling like they aren’t doing enough.

I’m going to let you off the hook: If you’ve done everything that you know to do, then you’re doing everything you can do.

Trying to do more than you know to do is forcing a situation which usually is a sign of attachment and as you know, forcing things never works. When you’re in the flow or when you are aligned with the thing that you want for yourself, the information you need will show up at the perfect time, exactly when you need it, not a second before and not a second afterwards.

The main thing here is understanding where you stand as it relates to doing the best YOU can do…and you KNOW when you’re doing your very best. Not someone else’s best, not some imaginary best, but the actual best that YOU can do. Then you can say, “I did my best”.

However, you also know when you’re doing the bare minimum or mediocre…so don’t allow yourself to be sucked into “Oh well, I’m doing the best I can do… blah, blah, blah”… when you KNOW it’s not your best.

You do need to push yourself to your own personal limits (and beyond), but you do have to be aware of and sure that you are doing the best you can do. And if you are doing the best you can do can do, that’s just fine - because that’s all you need to do.

And as a side note, sometimes doing the best you can do differs from day to day. You may be extremely tired one day and aren’t able to do as much as you did yesterday, but you’re doing the best you can do right now. Sometimes you may just be having an off-day. That happens - ask any professional sports player - some days they just have an off-day, but they did the best they could do that day. So make sure you’re doing the best you can do at all times and everything will always work itself out.

What Do You ‘Thinketh’?

As A Man Thinketh - Click here to download Your FREE copy

In As A Man Thinketh, James Allen said, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

When your thoughts and desires are supported by emotions the universe responds quickly. Your
emotions are the foundation for manifestation.

If you feel bad, you will attract bad things. If you feel good, you will attract good things. Be aware
of your feelings at all times so that you are able to transform negative feelings into positive ones.

I want you really ‘get’ what Allen is saying here

‘As a man thinks in his HEART, so is he.’

It’ very important to understand that he’s talking about the FEELINGS that are behind the things
you say and do.

It’s not enough to say empty affirmations everyday with no emotion or feeling behind them. It’s the
e-motion (energy in motion) that activates the Law of Attraction.

So I ask, ‘How do you FEEL about the things you want?’

Are you SAYING ‘I want another job…’ but FEELING afraid?

Are you SAYING ‘I want more money…’ but FEELING like it’s too hard to make more money?

Are you SAYING ‘I want a mate…’ but FEELING like you aren’t worthy?

Be sure the feeling is supporting (not contradicting) the things you desire for yourself.

Allen sums this up wonderfully in his book, ‘As A Man Thinketh’.

In case you haven’t read the timeless classic, I’ll have a downloadable version for you here:

As A Man Thinketh

Yours in success,

Antonio

Okay Back To Business

Wow… what a wonderful month!

A new baby…new contacts…and new contracts…

I’ve been spending so much time with my daughter that I’ve forgotten all about saving the world :-D

What do regular superheros do? How do they manage saving the world and managing a family? Maybe I need to watch The Incredibles again.

Anyway, I’m betting back into the swing of things…

No more picture of Aria on the blog (yeah right)

But really, if you want to keep up with what’s going on with her…you can visit her blog. All About Aria

Just one last picture…
Car Seat Smiling 2

an interesting lesson (below)

Obviously for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been busy “being a dad” .

Totally “neglecting” my business…so to speak.

I didn’t really neglect the business, because my business is almost totally automated. I was just spending a lot of time focused on Aria…

Here’s the interesting thing. I had a HUGE project “fall in my lap” this week. With NO struggle, NO hard work..in fact, with NO effort at all.

It just came.

My point…

By taking my focus OFF my business and not FORCING things… the thing I wanted came to me with no effort at all.

The art of allowing at it’s finest.

Until Aria came, I didn’t realize how much I was forcing things. With having a person who’s 100% dependent on me “take over my life” for the last couple of weeks, I COULDN’T do anything with my business. And as a result, I was knocked out of the zombie-like state of “working hard” and voila…

Wonderful things start showing up.

This is a powerful lesson for me because if you would have asked me if I thought I was “working hard” I would have told you “no”

But clearly, I can see now how I was tricking myself (ego) into thinking that what I was doing was ‘important’ and needed to be done…when in reality, it didn’t.

I was working for work’s sake.

Not following inspiration and allowing things to flow to me as they are meant to.

Think about this common scenario:

You’re in the mall and you catch eye contact with someone who looks familiar. You can tell by the way they’re looking at you that you look familiar to them as well.

They rush over and say, “Hey (your name)… how are you??? I haven’t seen you in such a long time…bla, bla, bla…”

You’re standing there being as cordial as you can be with out giving away the fact that you’ve totally forgotten their name. You’re struggling to remember, it pops in and out of your head….it’s right on the tip of your tongue, but you can’t grab it.

They kindly let you off the hook and say their goodbyes and you go off to what you were doing.

2 hours later, as you’re walking into your house you shout out… “DAVE!! That was his name…Dave!”

We’ve all experienced this… Their name suddenly comes rushing into your head for 2 reasons:
1) After seeing your friend and going about your business you consciously “let it go”… However, though you consciously “let it go”, your subconscious mind was busy at work, going thru all your past experiences to find that name. When it found the name, it passed the info onto your conscious mind with total ease (allowing)

2) By going about your other activities, you got your ego out of the way… You weren’t “attached” to the outcome of remembering (or not remembering) the person’s name.

Practical Application
So the lesson for you here is this: Don’t try to force things.

Take a moment to evaluate what you’re doing and ask, “Am I forcing this…?” “I am I “working hard” for the sake of working hard?”

Then stop doing that :-)

Just allow
