Law Of Attraction And Gold Fish Crackers

posted by Antonio Thornton @ 1:18 PM

I was taking my daughter Aria to Gymboree today (it’s like a fun, learning gym for kids) and got a really cool lesson in the Law of Attraction that I thought I’d share with you.

I realized something about children that most adults don’t use in their lives.

    - Expectation -

She wanted some crackers and kept saying,

    “crackers…crackers…crackers…crackers…”

Not screaming or yelling, just calmly (and persistently) saying “crackers.”

If you have kids or ever been around a 20-month-old when they want something, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Children EXPECT to get the things they want…EVERY time.

They don’t understand the concept of asking and NOT receiving what they want.

Most adults tend to ask for the things they want “passively” or “doubtfully” – and consequently, they end up NOT attracting the things they desire.

Here’s how to ask and get the things you want:

FYI – You don’t have to continuously as for things over and over like Aria did, but I do EXPECT you to click here to discover how to get the things you want :-)

James Ray arrested on manslaughter charges for Sedona sweat lodge incident – My take on how the law of attraction plays a part in this unfortunate event.

I hope my video conveys that something being “accidental” is not the same as “releasing someone from responsibility”. I truly believe Ray is responsible for what happened and he should deal with whatever comes along with such an event…but I do not believe that he is the “obsessed with death” or “God complex” person people are saying he is.

My continued condolences to the friends and families of Kirby Brown, James Shore and Liz Neuman

    Thankful for the All

For most people in the U.S., today is Thanksgiving… where friends and family gather ’round the table, share some good food and good times.

in addition to the things that most are thankful for, there’s also the opportunity to be thankful for the “All” by recognizing the totality gratitude.

It’s very easy to be thankful for the things we consider “blessings.”

We might say, “I’m thankful for my family, food, god, etc.”

However true gratitude encompasses the all. Meaning: being grateful for everything.

Metaphysically, to be thankful for one thing is the equivalent of being thankful for everything…because everything is connected – everything is one. Unfortunately most don’t see it that way…they pick and choose.

So, instead of (consciously) singling out things and only being thankful for the blessings, be thankful for the all.

Without these other things, we would not have anything to be thankful for.

Find it within yourself to be thankful for the boss who fired you, so that you could start your own business.

Be thankful for meeting your ex-wife in order to have the children that you had, or even the learning experience you shared.

Be thankful for the economy for creating opportunity when some opportunities are not seen

Be thankful for the all and you’ll experience the true meaning of Thanksgiving.

    Namaste and thank you!

    Have A Nice Day

Has anyone ever said to you, “Have a nice day…”

    Of course…

    What was your response?

If you’re like most people, you probably said, “Thanks, you too…” and went about your way…not putting much thought into it.

    Most people say “have

Cause And Effect: What You See…

Are You Imposing Suffering On Yourself (And Others)?

You can learn a lot about someone based on their conversation. I was in Wal-Mart the other day, just running around with Aria. A lady walked by talking to another lady and chuckled, “I love to see when dads suffer for a change.”

    Hmmm..

I was running behind Aria, keeping her from puling things from the shelves, pushing the shopping cart and talking on the phone simultaneously but I would not come anywhere near calling it suffering. I was actually having a good time.

I would say with 99.9% certainty that this woman lives what “I” would consider a miserable life.

    Why?

Because people talk about what they’re thinking about…or what their perception of things are.

You’ve heard the phrase, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” It’s so true. It’s all about perception.

She saw what I was going through as ’suffering’ because SHE would have felt that way about HER experience.

What are some of the things you think about and talk about that you’re imposing ’suffering’ on yourself.

Do you plop down on the couch after work and say, “I’m dead tired!” ?
When you’re feeling ill, do you declare, “I’m as sick as a dog!” ?

    Practical Application

There are tons of phrases we use freely that impose suffering on ourselves.

Be aware of the things you’re saying about yourself and others. Make sure they’re the phrases that are attractin what you want and not what you don’t want.
