Twitter Can Transform Your Life…

Have you been to Twitter.com?

If you haven’t you should get an account…

One of the things I LOVE about Twitter is that it FORCES you to communicate your thoughts in a clear, concise manner.

You only have 140 characters to convey “What you’re doing right now…”

BRILLIANT

This same principle can be POWERFUL when it comes to your goals…

Inevitably, when I ask people what their goals are I can tell very quickly who’s on track for achieving those goals and who’s not.

The majority of people who can quickly and concisely explain their goals (less than 30 seconds) usually will achieve them in short order.

Those who go on rambling for minutes and minutes…event hours… usually have no idea of what they really want.

And as a result, usually find themselves stuck and running around in circles.

So, here’s a simple thing you can do RIGHT NOW that will TOTALLY CHANGE YOUR LIFE - and it’s FREE.

(this should only take you about 4 minutes)
1. Go to Twitter.com
2. Get a FREE account
3. Find me… http://twitter.com/antoniothornton
4. Click the button to “follow me”
5. Tell me what you’re up to in your life ….
- what you’re working on
- what goals you’re going after
- what your life looks like in 5 years.

What ever you want… but here’s the only caveat… you have to do it in 140 characters!!

If you’re unable to do this in 140 characters, you may want to refine your goals to something more clear and concise. Consider that this may be the reason you might be struggling with your goals -because you really aren’t clear on what you want.

See you on Twitter….it’ll be fun!

Everything You Can Do

I’m often asked, “How do I know I’m doing everything I should to manifest the things I want?”

One of the ways that you can know if you’ve done everything you can do is determining if you’ve done everything that YOU can do.

Sometimes people feel that they aren’t doing enough - they’re wanting to get that business going and it’s not picking up fast enough…or they’re trying find that perfect relationship, but the person hasn’t shown up yet. Then, they start feeling like they aren’t doing enough.

I’m going to let you off the hook: If you’ve done everything that you know to do, then you’re doing everything you can do.

Trying to do more than you know to do is forcing a situation which usually is a sign of attachment and as you know, forcing things never works. When you’re in the flow or when you are aligned with the thing that you want for yourself, the information you need will show up at the perfect time, exactly when you need it, not a second before and not a second afterwards.

The main thing here is understanding where you stand as it relates to doing the best YOU can do…and you KNOW when you’re doing your very best. Not someone else’s best, not some imaginary best, but the actual best that YOU can do. Then you can say, “I did my best”.

However, you also know when you’re doing the bare minimum or mediocre…so don’t allow yourself to be sucked into “Oh well, I’m doing the best I can do… blah, blah, blah”… when you KNOW it’s not your best.

You do need to push yourself to your own personal limits (and beyond), but you do have to be aware of and sure that you are doing the best you can do. And if you are doing the best you can do can do, that’s just fine - because that’s all you need to do.

And as a side note, sometimes doing the best you can do differs from day to day. You may be extremely tired one day and aren’t able to do as much as you did yesterday, but you’re doing the best you can do right now. Sometimes you may just be having an off-day. That happens - ask any professional sports player - some days they just have an off-day, but they did the best they could do that day. So make sure you’re doing the best you can do at all times and everything will always work itself out.

Will you Do It?

I just got of the phone with one very honest guy.

He was asking me about how I made $100K in a week and how I’ve grown my other businesses so quickly….

These were my exact words, “I’d be more than happy to tell you, but I don’t want to waste either of our time… So I need you to answer one question first: If I told you, would you do it?”

You know what he said…

“Probably not.”

Wow… that’s honesty.

What’s my point?

Often people spend a lot of time and energy looking for the magic cure to all their life’s ills. They attend “motivational” seminars so that they can feel better about themselves but don’t apply the tips they learn.

They buy treadmills & exercise equipment only to use them as clothes racks and they buy DVDs and tapes and allow them gather dust on the shelf.

When I coach my clients I often them encourage them to begin applying the techniques they are learning while they continue their learning. When they remain in a state of “I’m doing my research” I have to ask them what they are waiting for to “begin”?

I find that most people never feel that they are at a place in their lives where they can successfully create the things they want. So they keep waiting for everything to be perfect.

The truth is that everything is already perfect whether we recognize it or not. The Law of Attraction is a perfect law always delivering to use what we give it to create.

So, what things are YOU looking for a silver bullet to ‘magically’ change?

  • Losing weight?
  • Making more money?
  • Finding a Mate?

Practical Application:

1. Honestly examine the areas of your life that you aren’t taking control of or taking responsibility for.

2. Determine WHO you need to BE or what you need to do to attract the things you want in that area. If you have books on the subject, read them. Audio programs, listen to them. DVDs, watch them. DON’T GO BUYING ANY MORE STUFF!

3. DO the things or BE the person you need to be.

Yes, it’s that easy. Will you do it?

Yours In Creation,

Antonio

Mind Your Own Business

I was listening to a friend talk about some of things she has been dealing with in regards to several of her family members. As I listened to her describe what this person was going through and what that person was going through and how everyone else was telling each other what they should and should not be doing I could not help but feel as if my energy level was going down. After several minutes of this I believe I tuned her out.

It seemed to me that some people needed to learn to mind their own business. Now I don’t share that to be rude. I actually believe that one of the most self loving things a person could do for themselves is mind their own business.

Here’s what I mean…. …continue reading Mind Your Own Business

“Nosce te ipsum”…You Do Know Latin

Have you ever found yourself in the midst of a situation not so pleasing and asked yourself the proverbial question, “What in the world am I doing?!”

I experienced this a couple of weeks ago…

I was trying to figure out why things in my life appeared to be so out of control and I found myself doubting my ability to create the things I wanted and enjoy them. I realized that …continue reading “Nosce te ipsum”…You Do Know Latin
