Maybe the low/high vibration thing depends upon the person. Personally, I’m with you, Antonio. I have no desire to scare myself. Since the subconscious mind can’t tell the difference between a real and imagined event, and since emotion shoves thoughts/images into the subconscious mind with greater force, I don’t care to put into my mind anything I don’t want to have “more of” in my life.

On the other hand, I have a good friend who is the most positive upbeat person I know, and she loves horror books and film. So I’m guessing horror doesn’t effect her emotionally the same way it does me.

Real horror (fear) is a low vibration energy (if you need to define “low” & “high”…)

The energy in horror fiction, though, is different. It’s creativity, sometimes humor and playfulness, the abilities of actors to portray intense emotions, the virtuosity of the special effects folks. Lots of what we’d define as “high” energies, for sure. (I’d say, higher complexity & awareness energy.)
