Hi Everyone…
I’m late on my update for the double a dollar a week. It’s been a little hectic.
This week I didn’t do as well as last week, but I did exceed my target of $16. I made $33 this week! This is getting exiting.
Next week my goal is $32.
We’ll see how I do…
Talk soon.
You heard me mention the “poverty mentality” in the Shift Happens blog post – how the guy from Dell was trying to make me “poor” by repeatedly downgrading what I actually wanted to order because it would be too expensive to get the top of the line items.Well that makes me want to talk about the whole poverty mentality thing. I was going through some old MS Excel files while doing some reorganization and I ran across a file named “double_a_penny”. I opened it and I was pleasantly surprised to see a chart I did about 10 years ago that calculated the amount of money you’d have by doubling a penny every day.

God is coming to town
God sees you when you’re sleeping
God knows when you’re awake
God knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
God is coming to town
Obviously these aren’t the lyrics to this well known song…but hang with me for a minute …I’ll explain where I’m going with this:
As of this year… I’ve only had one ‘cold’ in 18 years.
I remember 15 years ago, I hadn’t had a cold in about 3 years and I was talking to a girlfriend and she asked me did I ever get sick? Jokingly, I told her that I didn’t have time to get sick.
She totally cracked up and
